Chakra Meditation 
 

With chakra meditation you will learn to open and heal your closed chakras. All of your 7 chakras are all locations for your different skills and personality, so if one is closed, there will be disharmony and your chakras will not be in balance. This is something you may be able to feel. People who feel and see auras may also be able to see this. So if a chakra is closed, some part of you will be hidden and afraid to face the world. But you can open your chakras in different ways, and I suggest that you try different methods till you find one that works for you. 

Below you see a figure illustrating the chakras from the base of your spine and all the way up to the top of your head. Notice the colours of each chakra, as you will use them in your meditation. 

Root - This is the location for your stability, balance and security
Sacral - The place for passion and sexuality. It is also the location for psychic abilities and higher consciousness
Solar Plexus - This is where spontaneous actions and energy are located. this is the place where our will-power can be found.
Heart - This is the center for compassion, love and unconditional love.
Throat - This is where our communication abilities and our ability to express our selves verbally are located. 
Third Eye - This is our window to the spiritual world. This eye has the ability to see beyond the physical world.
Crown - This chakra is the direct channel to higher consciousness and getting in contact with our Higher Self, which can work as a guide.

Positive affirmations improve your self confidence. Strengthen your self esteem with positive thinking. Replace the damaging negative thoughts with beneficial positive thoughts. Improve your quality of life and self confidence.  
      Positive thinking is a great tool to improve your self esteem. Most people take comments very personal. If someone says something rude to us, or criticizes us, we tend to hold on to it for a very long time. It is extremely difficult for us to let it go, and we automatically consider it. Was he right? Did she actually have a point? Is that really how people see me?

      In some cases it will benefit us to listen to these comments if there actually is some truth in what is being said, and it is something about our behavior we have to change, for instance if we behave in a certain way that damage other people or ourselves. But in most cases it is just garbage comments that hold absolutely no truth in them, and only help to destroy our confident. 

     That is where positive affirmations and positive self-hypnotic thoughts will help for our self improvement. We have to be able to sort out what is beneficial comments and what is just damaging to our self esteem and self confidence. But it can sometimes be difficult to ignore these hard and rude comments, because we are so afraid that they are right.

Power of subconscious mind

 By learning about the power of the subconscious mind you are able to change your thought patterns into some that will alter your subconscious belief systems and make them more beneficial for you.   

What is the subconscious mind?

The subconscious mind is where we store all thoughts, emotions and life experiences so that they are never really forgotten. We may not be aware of what we have stored since it is no longer in our conscious mind, but it is not lost and it may make us act on it.
 
For instance if you are facing a situation that you are uncomfortable with, that uncomfortable feeling is caused by suppressed feelings and emotions stored in your subconscious mind. These unconstructive feelings are often created by some sort of a traumatic or unpleasant experience which let us to create these thought patterns that have become a habit and which the subconscious mind now sees as the truth. For instance you may think that you can’t do something because of previous events. You maybe try to show some sort of confidence on the surface but you still know deep down that you can’t. The result of this will then be that you have created your own outcome from your thoughts and feelings and as you have convinced your subconscious mind that you can’t do it, it will make sure that the result will be failure.
 
But this is not uncommon. Actually it is rather normal. We are not able to see how strongly the subconscious mind influences us until we are in that specific situation and a long time suppressed emotions suddenly shows up. That is why we need to changed those thought patterns and this belief system we have created. This transformation starts from the conscious mind, which will have to learn a new way of thinking and learn to avoid going back to old routines. This will take some time, since it will feel like a lie in the beginning as your subconscious mind will be working against you, but as you continue to work on it, the new belief system will then become the truth for the subconscious mind.
 
How to Changes a belief system?
A way to changes your belief system and thought patterns is by self-hypnosis, where you will learn to focus on what you want and how you want your life to be. You are replacing the old thoughts and emotions with some new and more useful ones.

A Quick Way to Take a Break

 Do a short 5 minute meditation. If you have a busy life, and know you wont have 30 minutes every day to meditate, then spend 5 minutes instead on simple meditations that still will get you to relax and create a less stressful day. Start your day with one of these short 5 minute relaxing meditations and meet the day with a more positive attitude.


Breathing Meditation

Sit in a comfortable posture with your back straight.
Take a long deep breath, and let the air fill your lower abdomen. Let it carry a great amount of positive energy to you body. Feel how your body absorbs the energy, and the instant feeling of bliss and delight that fills you. Exhale the air, which you have drain from energy, through your mouth, and let it take all of your tension and worries out of your system. Pause a couple of second before inhaling again. 

Inhale again and let the air fill you lower abdomen as it brings more energy supplies to your body. Feel the uplifting feeling of the energy entering your body and see the bright white light inside of you. Feel the warmth and the joy that it brings. 

Visualization Meditation

Lie down or sit up in a comfortable posture and close your eyes.
Take a deep breath all the way down to your lower abdomen. when you exhale, feel how much more relaxed you get and how you are letting go of all worries. Keep your body calm and relaxed, and focus on your breath. Do no longer breathe consciously but just pay attention to the breath. Feel how your body is relaxing.

Now imagine that you are lying down, or sitting, outside in the nature. Feel the grass beneath you. It is soft and smooth. Feel the soil under it. It has a dry yet a soft texture. Feel the uneven and bumpy surface. Smell the grass. Smell how fresh it smells. nearby runs a river. Hear the rippling water as it flows down the river and how relaxing it makes you feel. Feel the wind against your skin and how it carries the smell of the river. You can almost taste its aroma. Try to really use all of your senses and just be creative and add any details you like and that makes you feel secure and at peace. This is a great way to calm your body down.

Breathing Meditation
A Way to Calm Your Body and Still Your Mind

 Breathing meditation exercises prepare you for your meditation. Before you start the meditation, you first have to get your body to relax. Breathing exercises helps you to relax. It can be done in different ways.


Breathing Exercise
To get warmed up for the meditation, your body and your mind should first relax. Take a slow deep breath, and let the air go all the way down to your lower abdomen. Imagine the incoming air as a cold, blue wind that enters your nostril. Hold your breath for a second and feel the great amount of energy it brings to your lungs. Let it fill your body and then slowly let it out through your mouth, and visualize it as a warm, red wind, drained from all its energy. Take another deep breath, while imagining the blue cold wind entering your nostril. Repeat this breathing exercise till you feel relaxed.
During this breathing exercise your mind should be thoughtless. Your only focus should be on your breathing but your mind will probably be invaded with many irrelevant thoughts. Do not try to ignore them. You have to acknowledge them, and then you can let go of them. You could keep a note book nearby, to write the thoughts down, so that you can deal with them later, but try not to be to distracted.

Angel Meditation 
How to Contact Angels

Practice an Angel Meditation if you want to contact your guardian angel or one of the archangels. Angel meditation will help you create a loving space for you angel where it is welcome and where you will allow it to be present. There are different types of angel meditation you can do. First you have to figure out what your goal is with the angel meditation. What do you want from your guardian angel or the archangels? Do you want an answer on a specific question that you may have, or do you just want to know if they have anything they want you to know? Or maybe you just want to feel the comfort of these angels and feel all their loving energies.

Angel Meditation for Contacting Your Guardian Angel
Sit or lie in a comfortable position, and take a few second to calm your body down before beginning.    Now close your eyes and take a deep breath. Let all of your worries and tension exit your body as you exhale. Feel your body becoming more relaxed. Take another deep breath and remove the last of your worries you have inside. Feel how relaxed and calm your body and mind are.    

Now visualize in your minds eye that you are outside on a lovely flower field. Smell the aromas from the flowers and hear how they dance in the wind. Look at all their colours. Bright blue, red, yellow and orange flowers and nice green grass underneath. Just be at peace in nature. This is where you belong. Nature created you and so you feel at home out on that flower field.   
 
Now take your eyes away from the field and look at the sky instead. The sun does not blind you. You see clearly all of the details. You see the shapes of the clouds and how they slowly move.   
 
Now all of a sudden you see a small white light in the sky. Focus on that white light. Slowly it becomes bigger and bigger. You see how this heavenly light starts surrounding you and you suddenly have this feeling of bliss. Of love and comfort. You know that everything is going to be all right. All of a sudden your worries seem so small.   
 
The warm and beautiful white light is now all that you see. In the middle of the bright light you see a shape of a person. The person is white and bright as the light and he/she moves towards you. Suddenly you notice its great wings stretching out to the sides. As this person comes nearer, there is no doubt in your mind that this is an angel.   
 
Slowly the angel folds its wings around you, and you feel how soft and warm they feel. You almost feel like a little child in your mother’s arms. You feel the same love and security. You just relax in these angel wings as long as you like. Just take your time in this peaceful place. You are no longer afraid. You know that an angel is watching over you and that the only thing you need to do is to call upon it and ask it for help.   
 
When you are ready to return to your life, you just visualize that the wings are slowly opening. You still feel the love and security, even after the angel has let go. You see how the angel and all of the beautiful light are moving back into the sky where it came from. 
You now see the colourful flower field again with all of the beauty of this world. You can still feel how the love from the angel is still around, even though you can’t see it. You feel how the angel is watching out for you and protecting you. You now feel totally secure and safe and loved.
